He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther C. Sanders and Victorine M. Sanders (Laroche); his wife Barbara Ann Sanders (Stultz); and his siblings, Hazel Guise, Russell Sanders, William Sanders and Calvin Sanders.
He is survived by: his sons, Rickie A. Sanders (Josephine) of Orrtanna, PA, Craig S. Sanders of Fairfield, PA and Terry E. Sanders of Fairfield, PA; his granddaughter Kaitlin Nutter (David); and his brother Thomas Sanders (Mary).
