He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis McClain and Maybelle Kime McClain; his son-in-law Dennis R. Neiderer; his granddaughter Sondra Neiderer; and his siblings, Charles Gilland, Maurice Gilland, Dwight Sites, Charlotte Hull and Lena Crisp.
He is survived by: his wife Annie Stem McClain; his daughter Beverley Neiderer of New Oxford, PA; his grandchildren, Shannon Jesko (Todd Senseney) of Hanover, PA, Shellie Neiderer-Pevarnik (Mark) of McSherrystown, PA, Joshua Neiderer, Kayla Ethridge (John), Taylor Andros (Alex), Chloe Pevarnik, Emily Jesko, Tyler Jesko and Jack Senseney; and his great grandchildren, Meika, Pippa, Noah and Ethridge.
