She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl McCreery and Anna Grace McCreery (Gardner); her husband Gary Sowers; her grandson Isaiah Sowers; and her brother James McCreery.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Sowers (Lisa) and Daniel Sowers (Christine); her grandchildren, Sydney of Fairfield, Laken of Fairfield, Emma of Fairfield and Elliot of Fairfield; and her sister Ruth Burns. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, PO Box D, New Florence, PA 15944.
