He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Steslow and Mary A. Steslow (Loyes); and his siblings, John and Alma Pickel. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Steslow (Dacheux); his son Andrew R. (Genalyn Steslow) of San Diego, CA; his sister Sylvia Loeper of Reading; his grandsons, Jacob and Matthew; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel Loeper, Gerald Loeper, Thomas Loeper, Barbara Ann Akin, Kathleen Luttmer and Danielle Accorsi.
