He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Bax and Ruth Irene Walts Bax; his wife Esther Gustafson Bax; and his daughter Diane Gomez Bax. He is survived by: his son Gary D. Bax; his daughter-in-law Susan L. Bax of Millcreek; his grandchildren, Dr. Lauren Fratalia of Liverpool, England (Yesid Bayona), Melissa Gomez Bax and Mark Gomez Bax of Valencia, Spain; his great grandchild April Fratalia Bayona; his son-in-law Alfredo Gomez Cardona; and his brother Gregory Bax. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
