He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Byers, Sr. and Theressa Byers (Miller); and his siblings, Leslie, Warren, McClellan, Wayne, Hazel and Dorothy.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Byers (Gsell) of Fayetteville, PA; his children, Rodney J. Byers (Renee) of Chambersburg, PA and Wilma Bumbaugh (Ed) of Mont Alto, PA; his grandchildren, Shannon Richard (Troy) of Lititz, PA, Chad Bumbaugh (Karen) of Mount Wolf, PA and Amber Byers of Saline, MI; and his great grandchildren, Colby, Logan Richard, Avery, Jocelyn Bumbaugh, Olivia and Layah Byers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home (333 Falling Spring Rd, Chambersburg, PA 17202).
