George Swithers Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2025, at the age of 100, George Swithers of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Parkertown; his wife Theresa Meyer Swithers; his son William Hasenstab; and his brothers, Charles and Robert Swithers.

He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Chavanne; his nephew Jay Swithers; and his grandchildren, Thomas Conroy, Karen Brady, Lisa Jedic, Barbara Chavanne, Kristin Boyce and Drew Hasenstab. He is also survived by his fourteen great grandchildren, his four great-great grandchildren, his two great nephews and his two great nieces.
