It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Wissinger of Ford City, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 3, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Zonar Wissinger and Marie Wissinger (Knape). He is survived by : his wife Patricia Bik Wissinger; his sons, David F. (Karen) of Armstrong County and Eric A. of Allegheny County; his grandchildren, Erica L., John D., Gordon A. and Andrew F.; and his sister Ann A. Atkison.

“Dear Pat(Bic) and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband and father. Dr. Andy Wissinger was a talented orthopedic surgeon. I had the pleasure of working with him in the OR at St. Francis General Hospital. He was a very dedicated surgeon, and was also good to the staff who worked with him. May he find rest in the arms of Our Lord. Deepest Sympathy, Christina Casper.”
