He was predeceased by: his parent Lester Shellhammer (Dorothy Erb); his wife Deborah Shellhammer; his siblings, McKee Shellhammer, Clair Shellhammer and Catherine Kline; his brother-in-law Carlos Correa; and his grandson Levi Shellhammer.
He is survived by: his sons, Dorme Shellhammer (Kimberly) of Ford City, Greg Shellhammer (Jennifer) of South Bend, George Shellhammer (Hollie) of Ford City, Jesse Shellhammer (Athene) of Shelocta and Kevin Shellhammer (Samantha) of Ford City; and his siblings, A. R., Thomas, Lee, Albert Shellhammer (Kathy), Mae Ramer (Bill), Jean McAfoose, Judy Correa, Linda Payne (Frank) and Leitha Anthony (Edward). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
