It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwen Rideout (Ford City, Pennsylvania), born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 14, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Shaner and Ann Shaner; and her siblings, Carl Shaner, Cindy Fortunato and Susan Shaner.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Kaylee; her children, Jamie John of Kittanning, Robin Ochoa (Moises) of Chicago, Kim Kimberlin (Jack) of St. Elmo, Linda Folta of Johnston, Elmer John Jr. of Kittanning, Mike Rideout (Mercy) of Streater and Julie Young of Joliet; and her siblings, Fred Shaner Jr (Theresa), Ray Shaner Sr (Abbie), Dud Shaner (Sherry) of Ford City, Peggy McMillen (Ron) of Kittanning and Tom Shaner (Sonya) of Ford City. She is also survived by 33 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
