He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold J. Sanders and Elizabeth Sanders (Wettlaufer). He is survived by: his spouse Lucetta R "Peggy" Sanders (Davidson); his children, Erica Bisesi (Eric) of Maryland, Sean Sanders of Nazareth and Adam Knecht (Melissa) of Allentown; his grandchildren, Colin, Tristin, Jeffrey, Brook, Lisandra, Courtney, Abbey and Riley; his sisters, Jane Volk (David) and Susan Mucha (Scot); his half-brother Gene Sanders; and his brother Harold. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
