Schmid of Forks Township, Pennsylvania, born in Chesterton, Indiana, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Franz X. Schmid and Verla Schmid (Babcock); and his brother Anton Schmid. He is survived by : his fiancée Betsy A. Redinger; his children, Jade Jones (Stormey) of Lakewood, CO, Max Schmid (Megan) of Pine, CO and Nicholas Schmid (Lily) of Aurora, CO; and his brother John Schimid (Holly) of Illinois. He is also survived by 5 granddaughters.
