He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elsie Schneider Slaysman and German; his grandparents, Elisa and Frederick Schneider; his spouse Jean Winter; his daughters, Lois Flothmeier (Fred) of Maple Glen and Janet Schneider of Maple Glen; his grandchildren, Andrew (Kate), Grant (Greta) and Jennika Flothmeier; and his great grandchildren, Johanna Rose, Matilda Jean, Kurt Ransom and Vivien Jesse Flothmeier.

Memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
