She was predeceased by: her parents, Melbourne "Red" Carey and Doris Lauderbach Carey; and her siblings, Nancy DeForest, Doris "Sis" Stroud, Mollieann Calkins, Polly Bobersky and David Carey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Michael Carey (Cheryl) of Dallas, John Carey (Marilyn) of Kingston, Bob Carey of Noxen, James Carey (Lee Ann) of Dallas, Jessie Fowler of Milesburg, Lois Jane Kaminski of Dallas, Susan Yudiski of Dallas, Patti Lawley of Dallas and Robin Lunger (Carl) of Benton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc. (2386 PA-118, Hunlock Creek, PA 18621).
