He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Hemenetz and Sophie Hemenetz (Onisko); and his siblings, Michael Hemence, George Hemenetz, Charles Hemenetz, Mary Hemenetz, Ann Matcho, Julia Burko and Helen Salzman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
