He was predeceased by : his parents, Warren Evans and Marion Evans; and his former life partner Marsha Jean Evans. He is survived by : his wife Diane Schick Evans; his daughters, Stacey Evans (Rob Lewis) of Shavertown and Kerri Evans of Larksville; his stepchildren, Lisa Huff of Forty Fort and Eric Huff of Luzerne; his grandchildren, Chase Shimko, Aidan Shimko and Brinley Lewis; and his siblings, Bruce Evans (Janet) of Luzerne and Holly Menta (John) of Swoyersville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic a private funeral service will be held at the United Methodist Church, Luzerne, with his Pastor Rev. Debbie Rose, officiating.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Hugh B. Hughes & Son, Inc. Funeral Home, Forty Fort.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, if desired, can be made to the American Cancer Society.
