MaryAnn R. Barilla Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of MaryAnn R. Barilla (Forty Fort, Pennsylvania), born in Swoyersville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Charnetski and Anna Kamus Charnetski Urbanovich; her husband Andrew; and her daughter Lisa Barilla. She is survived by: her children, Susan Barilla-Davis (William), David Barilla (Suzanne), Anita Waravdekar (Neil MD) and Andrew Barilla IV (Kayanne); her grandson Jonathan Davis (Chrissy); her children, Jennifer Parulis (Doug), Drew Waravdekar (Renee), Rebecca Altner (Zach Esq), Cristina Waravdekar, Nicolas Waravdekar, Alexander Barilla (Ari), Kathryn Barilla and Margaret Barilla; her stepgrandson William Davis Jr. (Kim); her great grandchildren, Brayden, Keegan, Shea Davis, Ella Ann, Madeleine Parulis, Charlotte, James Waravdekar and Amelia Altner; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Gavin and Parker Davis; her brother Anthony Charnetski (Sandy); and her siblings-in-law, Maryann Yurko (Richard) and John Barilla (Jeanne). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wroblewski Funeral Home (1442 Wyoming Ave, Forty Fort, PA 18704). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish (574 Bennett St, Luzerne, PA 18709).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in MaryAnn's memory to Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 30 E.D. Preate Drive, Suite 108, Moosic, PA 18507 and/or to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, P.O. Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178-1352 – checks would be made payable to CHOP Foundation.
