She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shira and Arabella Shira. She is survived by: her husband John E. Richards; and her children, John W. Richards (Louise) of Gaithersburg, MD, Karen Richards of Franklin and Ann Richards Krill (Pete) of Plymouth Meeting, PA..
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christ United Methodist Church (1135 Buffalo St, Franklin, PA 16323). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Edith's memory to the Seneca Hills Bible Camp and Retreat Center, 276 Damascus Road, Polk, PA 16342.
