It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oakley C. Osborne of Franklin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Osborne and Bernice K. Osborne (Heffernan); his wife Kathryn Osborne (Best); his children, Dr. Lewis Craig Osborne and Sherry Ann Osborne; and his brothers-in-law, Carl Bingman and Mead Robinson.
He is survived by: his sons, Joe Osborne of Franklin and Gary Osborne (Elaine) of Kennerdell; his daughter-in-law Sandy Osborne of Illinois; his grandchildren, Charles Osborne (Leanne) of Illinois, Megan Welgat (Matthew) of Illinois, Russ Schmader, Jr. of Florida, Leah Hart (Ben) of Louisiana, Jana Knox (Jim) of Franklin, Katie Jane O'Niel of Cranberry and Tyler Joe Osborne (Ashleigh) of Kennerdell; his great grandchildren, Nathan Hart of Louisiana, Jaci Templeton of Louisiana, Rissa of Florida, Rya Schmader of Florida, Denali of Cranberry, Danica of Cranberry, Delayna Wenner of Cranberry, Oakleigh of Illinois, MaKenleigh of Illinois, Coraleigh Osborne of Illinois, William of Illinois, Emily Osborne of Illinois, Midas Galford of Franklin, Keirnee, Skylar Knox of Franklin, Maris and Rose; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Freeman, Sylvia "Sue" Beightol (John) of Cooperstown, Lois Bingman of Franklin and Paul Osborn (Pat) of Franklin. He is also survived by his wife, children, and nineteen great grandchildren.
