It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Giandonato of Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastiano Mirra and Carmela Mirra; and her husband Julius. She is survived by: her sister Josephine Edwards; her daughter Maria; her son-in-law Anthony Grassia; her grandchildren, Anthony Grassia (Lindsay) and Laura Grassia; and her great grandchildren, Nino, Ava and Nicholas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations sent in Rita's name to the Genesis Employee Foundation or a charity of donor's choice.
