It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Hanes of Genesee, Pennsylvania, born in Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 31, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Jack Uber and Lucy Baun Uber; her husband Warren L. "Gabe" Hanes; her children, Patricia Seidel (Gene) of Auburn, PA, Nancy Waters (Richard) of Whitesville, NY, Warren Hanes, Jr. (Maureen) of Genesee, Tammy Snyder (Jesse) of Genesee and Cora Gehret (George "Ed") of Genesee; and her siblings, Lillian Skillman, Kathy Uber, Charles Uber, Robert Uber and Howard Uber.
