It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Robert Kreitz Sr. of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 23, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles T. Kreitz and Margaret A. Kreitz (Hoffman); his wife Virginia Krietz (Wagerman); his siblings, Shirley Brown and Richard "Dick" Kreitz; and his daughter-in-law Mary E. Krietz.
He is survived by: his children, Robert L. Krietz of Waynesboro, Charles R. Krietz, Jr. (Kim) of Keymar, MD, Terry E. Krietz (Ruth) of Gettysburg, Daniel W. Krietz of Gardners, Pamela A. Poland (Jerry) of Hanover and Eva M. Shaffer (Brian) of Gettysburg; and his grandchildren, April Krietz Koyne, Angie Stone, Charles Krietz, Cory Krietz, Stacey Krietz Rushwald, Bradley Adam Krietz, Caydee Reck, Brandon Krietz, Sarah Krietz, Megan Poland Mullooly, Tanner Shaffer and Jordan Shaffer Valli. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
