He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale A. Deckert, Sr. and Nellie Watson Deckert. He is survived by: his wife Carla Elaine Jackson Deckert; his children, Dale A. Deckert, III (Kate) of Littlestown, PA, Jennifer Deckert (Peyton Pool) of Middletown, PA and Michael Deckert (Jennifer); his stepchildren, Kathy Mixon of Dover, PA, Scott Mixon (Bonnie) of Orrtanna, PA and Tammy Mixon of Gettysburg, PA; his sister Anna Deckert of Gettysburg, PA; and his pet Max. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
