We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2020, at the age of 73, Daniel L. Hemmerly (Gettysburg, Pennsylvania), born in Tiffin, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Hemmerly and Mary Etta Hemmerly; his son James L. Hemmerly; his grandson Preston Hemmerly; his sister Roxanne Green; his father-in-law Luther Boyd; and his pet Lexie.
He is survived by: his wife Donamae Boyd Hemmerly; his children, Melissa West (Jerome) of Bunkie, LA, Tony Hemmerly (Hollie) of Jacksonville, FL and Matt Hemmerly (Claire) of Chicago, IL.; his grandchildren, Katie LeBlanc (Jordan), Dylan West (Shanna) of Louisiana, Hailey Hemmerly, Ashley Hemmerly, Danny Hemmerly and Audrey Hemmerly of Jacksonville, FL.; his great grandchildren, Carter West of Louisiana, Lily West of Louisiana, Emilie West of Louisiana, Adam West of Louisiana and Khloe LeBlanc of Louisiana; his siblings, Jane Browne (Dave) of Ft. Myers, FL and Richard Hemmerly (Jan) of Kokomo, IN; and his mother-in-law Janet Boyd. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
