He is survived by: his parent Margaret Wetzel Staley; his wife Alice Faye Reasner Staley; his daughter Sue Ellen Spangler (Michael) of Gettysburg, PA; his grandchildren, Michael Spangler, Jr. and Allison Spangler; and his siblings, Robert Staley of Gettysburg, PA and Mary Flohr of Effingham, SC..
