He was predeceased by: his parent Raymond F. Sr; his wife Barbara A. Redding; and his siblings, Mary Burroughs, Evelyn Keilholtz, Teresa Irving, Raymond Redding, Jr., Mark Redding, Helena Topper, Patricia Bollinger and Dennis Redding.
He is survived by: his parent Helen Redding, Sr. (Strausbaugh); his children, Jane M. Redding of Thurmont, MD, Herman J. Redding, Jr. (Beth) of Downingtown, PA, Anthony D. Redding (Barb) of Cashtown, PA, William J. Redding of Hanover, PA and Melissa H. Redding (Donald G. Hubbard, Jr.) of Gettysburg, PA; his grandchildren, Allison, Nathan and Matthew; his stepgrandchildren, Mariah and Marlie; and his sister Janice Yeary of Sweetwater, TN..
