He was predeceased by: his wife Priscilla Brooks (Rodgers); and his parents, Ruby Brooks, and James Brooks, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Richard F. Brooks (Tiffany), Paul N. Brooks (Coleen), James F. Brooks, III (Kelly) and Madeline E. Bullock. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, and a large extended family.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Apostolic Ministries Church (955 Baltimore St, Hanover, PA 17331). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens (1380 Chambersburg Rd, Gettysburg, PA 17325).
