Jean Marie Steinour Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 11, 2025, at the age of 96, Jean Marie Steinour (Gettysburg, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Sneeringer and Marie Livelsberger Sneeringer; her husband Joe; and her children, Susan Steinour Coston and John.

She is survived by: her daughter Anne Laughlin of Gettysburg; her son-in-law Bill Coston of Gettysburg; her children, Bill (Suzanne) of Gettysburg, Becky (Pete Thomas) of Gettysburg, Mary Beth (Jim LeVan) of East Berlin, PA and Carol (Bob Young) of Camp Hill, PA.; and her grandchildren, Kate Parker (Ben) of Pawley's Island, SC, Andrew Laughlin of Pittsburgh, Jennifer Krovic of Mechanicsburg, Kerri Reeve (Ben) of Roanoke, Eliza Bernardini (Brian) of Coatesville, Peter Steinour (Claudia) of Miami, FL, Lindsay Bourke (Josh) of Melbourne, AU, Emily Devereux (Patrick) of Pittsburgh, Laura Doll (Derrick) of York, Susanna Sayah (James) of Camp Hill and Max Young of Camp Hill. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (25 W High St, Gettysburg, PA 17325). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
