He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilford Forsythe and Alda Forsythe (Schuyler); his wife Stella I. Forsythe (Kimmel); and his siblings, Clarence, Paul, Florence, Mary and Ruth.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Swackard of Chambersburg, PA, Rick Forsythe (Lisa) of Orrtanna, PA, Kenneth Forsythe (Heather) of Gettysburg, Virginia Allison (Harry) of Gettysburg, William "Bill" Forsythe (Tammy) of Fayetteville, PA and Linda Buckles of Gettysburg; and his siblings, Shirley Codori of Gettysburg, Betty Jane Robinson of Gettysburg, Donnie Forsythe of Gettysburg and Nancy Lawrence of Carlisle, PA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 6 great great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the funeral home to help defray the funeral expenses.
