He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver F. Sanders and Martha Sanders (Rider); and his wife Effie M. Sanders (Gastley). He is survived by: his children, David J. Sanders (Shirley) of Gettysburg, Scott M. Sanders (Susan) of Harrisburg and Judy A. Hamilton (Jesse) of Waxahachie Texas; and his grandchildren, Shane Sanders (Julie), Amy Sanders, Brad Sanders (Colleen), Emily Nordfors (Jim), Janson Davis (Brad), Jory Hamilton and Jacey Davis (Matt).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to, St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, 465 Table Rock Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
