He was predeceased by: his parent Francis P.; and his siblings, Brenda Kime and Gary Shultz. He is survived by: his parent Mary E. Shultz (Plank); his wife Elizabeth L. Shultz (Eller); his children, Mary Ann Viersma of Gettysburg, Lisa E. Barr of Abbottstown and Bradley L. Doss of Gettysburg; and his brothers, Michael Shultz of Gettysburg, William Shultz of Harrisburg and Rick Allen. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
