He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur G. Airey and Sara Airey Nitterauer (James); and his sisters, Dorothy Rorer and Jane Melchior. He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Arthur R. Airey and Robin A. Airey; and his grandchildren, Cody R. Airey, Jacob A. Airey and Kylee A. Airey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cedarville United Methodist Church (1092 Laurelwood Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465) in Arthur's name.
