It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian A. (Tornetta) Phifer (Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania), born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 30, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tornetta and Anna Tornetta (Bono); her husband John; and her sisters, Betty Bucci (Tony), Mary Famularo (Tony) and Angie Nacarella (George).
She is survived by: her children, Alice Purvis (Roy), Ann George (Rick) and Kevin S. Phifer (Barbara); and her siblings, Sonny Tornetta (Stephanie) and Frances Phifer (late Harry Phifer). She is also survived by Seven grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church (127 E Howard St, Stowe, PA 19464). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Patient Care Hospice (995 Old Eagle School Road, Wayne, PA 19087) in Lillian's memory.
