He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hunziker and Lillian Hunziker (Smith); and his sister Patricia Hunziker. He is survived by: his children, Susan P. Hunziker and Paul V. Hunziker (Nicole Turner); and his granddaughter Emily L. Hunziker.
