He was predeceased by: his parents, Justice Boettger and Elizabeth Boettger (Finkbiner); his siblings, Ed, Doug Boettger and Emily; his close friend Peggy Cingle; and his wife Judy.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Eisenhauer (Ike), Ron Boettger, Bryan Boettger (Karen), Jeff Boettger and Beth Loomis (Scott); and his brother Justus "Bud" Boettger. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
