As Eleanor departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Eleanor. Though Eleanor may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter McAndrew and Anna McAndrew (Sucavage); her husband John "Jackie" McDonald; and her siblings, Anna Mae Gownley, Rita Ketusky, Dorothy Kozel and Bernard McAndrew.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ann (Tom Kowalonek) of Auburn and Maureen (Arthur Barnes) of Auburn; and her granddaughter Jaclyn Kowalonek. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home (501 W Washington St, Frackville, PA 17931). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
