With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margery Peterson Lee of Gladwyne, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Margery Peterson departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Margery Peterson. Though Margery Peterson may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Peterson and Marjorie Peterson; and her husband B. Herbert Lee. She is survived by: her sister Ruth P. Barton; and her stepchildren, Bradford Adams Lee and Barbara Kingsberry Lee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Redeemer (230 Pennswood Rd, Bryn Mawr, PA 19010).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Lee's name may be made to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Orchestra.
