With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene W. Painter (Glen Campbell, Pennsylvania), born in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 3, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary C. Painter (Stamler) and Theodore W. Painter; his son Chad Painter; and his brothers-in-law, William McAfoos, Ronald Gourley and Thomas Gourley.
He is survived by: his wife Martha I. Painter (Gourley); his son Ken Painter (Shannon) of Glen Campbell; his grandchildren, Mya and Devin Painter; and his sister Deborah McAfoos. He is also survived by several brother and sister in-law's and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Mr. Painter, to the Rossiter American Legion or to the charity of the donors' choice.
