She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Maria Paffas (Anthony), John Mantakounis, Stephen Mantakounis (Dia) and Emanuel Mantakounis; her grandchildren, Dena Lonergan (Steve), Gian Mantakounis (Adrian), Sophia Paffas, Billy Paffas (Tessa), George Mantakounis, Chloe Mantakounis, Maximus Mantakounis and Mia Mantakounis; her sister-in-law Joan Mantakounis; her parents, Emanuel Koliakoudakis (Sam) and Mary Koliakoudakis (Rose); her brother George Koliakoudakis (Kolias); and her husband George Mantakounis. She was also cherished by numerous cousins and godchildren.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of St. Luke (35 N Malin Rd, Broomall, PA 19008). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at the Edgewood Memorial Park (325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA 19342).
In lieu of flowers, Sophie's memory may be honored through contributions to the church.
