He was predeceased by: his former wife Ellen Amon Etzel; and also Karen Lee Rosenfeld. He is survived by: his brothers, Carl Etzel (Skip) and Jack Etzel; his son-in-law Howard Rosenfeld; his stepchildren, Kirk McFarland (Cindy) and Geraldine Lee; his grandchildren, Ian Lee and Eric McFarland (Sharon); and also Joyce Etzel. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
