It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Helwig of Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 16, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Moeckel and Gertrude Moeckel (Johnson); and her husband Lawrence E. Helwig. She is survived by: her children, Jean Moore (Kevin) of Ohio Township, Kathryn Herron of Jamestown, NY and Nancy Keck (Marlin) of Butler; her sibling Jean McGuire of Bethel Park; and her grandchildren, Bethany Mejean (Alex), Eric Moore (Kiley) and Anna Moore. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
