He is survived by: his parents, Rose Lease (Dean) of Ashland and Michael Phalen (Diane) of Woodstock, Georgia; his grandparents, Betty Phillips of Ashland, Frank Phalen and Patricia Phalen of Georgia; his stepbrothers, Kyle Phalen and Dalton Phalen (Lauren); and his uncles, Barbara Echelberger (Keith), Patricia Simpson (Dennis), Frank Phillips (Kathy), Tim Phalen and Shawn Tracey (Mark).
