With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Ellen Greenebaum (Glenside, Pennsylvania), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary Ellen left this world on July 8, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence (Bridget Fox) and Loughrea; and her siblings, Delly, Kathleen and Larry.
She is survived by: her husband John; her stepsons, David (Kate) and Robert (Francine); her brother Tommy (Theresa); and her grandchildren, Sam, Josh, Jax (Oliver) and Jonah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews from her extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the William R. May Funeral Home, Inc. (354 N Easton Rd, Glenside, PA 19038). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary Ellen may be directed to "Bringing Hope Home" (http://www.bringinghopehome.org.) a local charity devoted to financially supporting Philadelphia area families affected by cancer.
