She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Jane F. Merklin and Joseph Merklin. She is survived by : her husband Frank Squartino; her children, Marianna, Gabrielle and John Squartino; her grandchildren, James Briggs, Alexia, Jeffrey French and Anastazia Applegate; her siblings, Joe Merklin (Lori) and Theresa Mermini (Mark); and her sister-in-law Patricia Dempsey (Greg).

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial (646 Springfield Ave, Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Church (111 South St, New Providence, NJ 07974). A burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Hollywood Cemetery (1621 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
