She was predeceased by : her parents, John Boyer and Esther Machamer Boyer; her husbands, William Umholtz and George Nolte; her son William Lee Umholtz; and her sister Merl Thompson.

She is survived by : her daughter Melodee S. Turner; her grandsons, Chad Turner (Leslie) and Christopher Turner (Jill); her great grandchildren, Luke, Nicholas, Caleb, Leia and Cayden; and her siblings, Faye Thompson and Jack Boyer.
