He was predeceased by: his parents, John Warren and Pearl Deatta Whipkey (Huffman); and his sister Judy Chambers. He is survived by: his wife Linda Jane Workman; his sons, John Warren Whipkey (Diane) of Blacksville, WV, Joe N. Whipkey (Stacey) of Graysville, Charles David Whipkey (Jennifer) of Spraggs and James Michael Whipkey (Lauren) of Graysville; his grandchildren, Heather Bonaventura (Gennaro), Cody Whipkey (Katlyn), Tyler, Wesley, Abby, Johnny, Makenna and Madeleine Whipkey; his great grandchildren, Bailey Whipkey, Colt Bonaventura and Kayce Whipkey; and his brother Terry L. Whipkey (Dianna) of Waynesburg.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kesterson-Rush Funeral Home (3275 W Roy Furman Hwy, Sycamore, PA 15359).
