She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Franz and Gladys Franz; her former husband Wilbert O. Berthold (Donald S. Bair); her sister Mary Schwartz; her stepson Edward Bair; and her children-in-law, David DePriest and Sherri Berthold.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Berthold of Portland, OR, Pamela Schultz (Jeffrey) of Boalsburg, PA, James Berthold (Carol) of Pittsburgh, PA, Joseph Berthold (Dorcas) of Denton, TX, Dianne Patonetz (Joseph) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Mary Lynn Berthold DePriest of Altoona, PA; her siblings, Arthur Franz (Angie) of Chicago, IL and Georgiann Sands (Tim) of San Diego, CA; and her grandchildren, Lauren Anders (Cody), Katie Berthold, Melissa Bartlett (Graham), Angela Cepullio, Brett Cepullio, Rachel Donahue (Ryan), Anna Berthold (Matt), Meghan Berthold (Jake), Mady Cannaday (Joe), Leah Caravaggio (Mike) and Zachary Caravaggio (Gabby). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
