She was predeceased by : her parents, Modestus Shank and Anna Shank (Gasper); her husband John J. Giron Sr.; her sister Dorothy Smeltzer; her sons-in-law, Paul Hetz and Mark Dziedzickie; and her grandsons, Tommy Brown and Russell Davis.

She is survived by : her children, Barbara Davis, Steve Davis, John J. Giron Jr., Regina McQuillis, Tim McQuillis, James Giron, Germaine Susman, Ed Susman, Carol Dziedzickie (Larry Sphon, Rita), Laura Hetz (Dave Carrington, David) and Jacqueline Giron. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Donna Casterwiler; and sister-in-law.
