It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John G. Nalevanko Sr. of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Nalevanko and Catherine Nalevanko (Bohatch); his wife Jacqueline A. Nalevanko (Kowalewski); and his father-in-law Eugene Kowalewski, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, John G. Nalevanko, Jr. and Nicole A. Nalevanko (Christopher Leonard); his grandchildren, Cecilia and Archer Leonard; his mother-in-law Maryann Kowalewski; and his siblings-in-law, Theresa Soforic (Amos) and Eugene Kowalewski, Jr. (Terri). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc. (516 Stanton St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A prayer will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Parish (820 Carbon Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
