She was predeceased by: her parents, Johannes Albertus Laansma and Helen Parry Lamb Laansma; her husband John W. Pollins III; and her son John W. Pollins IV. She is survived by: her daughters, Suzanne Pollins MacLennan (Andrew George MacLennan) of Greensburg and Christina Elise Pollins of Galax, VA; her daughter-in-law Heather Humphrey Pollins of Jeannette, PA; her grandchildren, Kayla MacLennan Rubens (Oliver) of San Francisco, CA, Megan Parry MacLennan of Greensburg, Ella-Mae Maude Shackelford of Richmond, VA, John W. Pollins V and Frank Dean Pollins of Jeannette; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Pollins O'Leary; and her friend Jerry Barlow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Greensburg Art Center (230 Todd School Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601).
